He has extensive expertise in collective bargaining, change management, people and culture, and applies a strategic, pragmatic approach to employment relations.
John has a strong background in senior ER and HR leadership roles, including General Manager HR positions across the public, health, finance, and local government sectors. Most recently, John worked closely with organisations to unlock the potential of their greatest asset — their people.
A strong advocate for constructive employment relationships, John believes that interest‑based bargaining is key to sustainable organisational success. In his partnership role at Three60 Consult, John works with public sector organisations (including health and local government) and private sector agencies in Wellington and across New Zealand, supporting them to achieve positive, lasting outcomes.
